These terms apply to the Ingendo mobile app, this website and the agency dashboard (together, “Ingendo”), operated by Harness Solutions. By using Ingendo you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

1. What Ingendo is

Ingendo is an information service. It shows public-transport fares in Rwanda so you know what to expect before you travel. We don’t sell tickets, run buses or set prices, and we are not the Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (RURA) or any transport agency.

2. About the fares shown

• Official fares come from the tariff published by RURA. We transcribe it with care, but RURA’s own publication is the authoritative source.
• Agency fares are published by the agencies themselves. Where an agency sets a price different from the official fare, Ingendo shows that it differs.
• Fares can change, and the app may show a saved copy while you’re offline (it tells you when). The price you pay is the one charged by the transport operator. If something looks wrong, check with the agency or RURA, and let us know.

3. Using Ingendo

You agree not to:

• use Ingendo for anything unlawful or misleading;
• overload, disrupt or try to break into our systems, or collect data from them in bulk by automated means without our permission;
• pretend to be someone else, or an agency you don’t represent.

Reviews

Reviews must be honest and about your own experience with the agency. No insults, threats, personal information about others, advertising or reviews of an agency you work for. Comments are checked before they appear, and we may refuse or remove reviews that break these rules, including after a report. Agencies can’t pay to remove or change a review.

4. Agency accounts

If you register or work for a transport agency on Ingendo:

• you confirm you’re authorised to act for that agency, and that the details and documents you provide are true;
• the agency is responsible for the fares and information it publishes, and for keeping them accurate and up to date, including what its staff do in the dashboard;
• keep your password private and tell us if you think your account has been misused;
• we review agencies before they appear publicly, and may reject, suspend or remove an agency or account that breaks these terms, publishes misleading fares, or can’t be verified.

By publishing information on Ingendo, the agency allows us to display it in the app, on the website and through our services, for as long as it remains published.

5. Our content

The Ingendo name, logo, app and website belong to Harness Solutions. Public fare information such as RURA’s tariff remains public information. Agencies keep the rights to their own names and logos.

6. Availability

We work to keep Ingendo available and accurate, but we provide it “as is”. It may sometimes be unavailable, and we may change, suspend or stop parts of it. The app keeps a saved copy of fares so it remains useful offline.

7. Liability

Ingendo is free, informational and relies on public and agency-provided data. As far as Rwandan law allows, Harness Solutions is not liable for losses arising from reliance on the fares or information shown, from interruptions of the service, or from the conduct of transport operators. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Ending use

You can stop using Ingendo at any time. Dashboard users can ask us to close their account. We may suspend access that breaks these terms.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as Ingendo evolves. We’ll change the date at the top, and tell dashboard users about significant changes. Continuing to use Ingendo means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda, and disputes fall under the competent courts of Rwanda.
