About
About Ingendo
Ingendo is the honest place to check bus fares in Rwanda: the official price of every intercity route, every agency that runs it, and tickets you can buy from your phone.
Why Ingendo
Travellers often find out the price of a trip only at the bus park, and prices differ from one agency to another. Ingendo puts every fare in one place, starting from the official tariff, so you know what a trip costs before you leave home.
What Ingendo does
Official fares
Every intercity route with its price from RURA’s tariff, and any agency that charges differently shown beside it.
Plan any trip
Search from one stop to another, compare agencies, see departure times and find bus parks near you.
Tickets by MoMo
Buy from agencies that sell online: pay their MTN MoMo or Airtel Money code and keep a QR ticket on your phone.
Works offline
The app keeps fares and timetables on your phone, so they’re there even without a connection.
Your language
Ingendo speaks Kinyarwanda, English and French, and shows prices in other currencies for visitors.
Free for travellers
Checking fares, planning and saving trips cost nothing. Most of it works without an account.
How fares work
RURA, Rwanda’s regulator, sets the official price of each intercity route. Ingendo starts from that tariff. When an agency charges a different price, Ingendo shows it next to the official one, so the difference is clear.
The tariff comes from RURA’s published tariffs, and Ingendo updates when a new one takes effect.
For agencies
Bus agencies keep their routes, prices and timetables up to date from any phone, post notices to travellers, sell tickets online and see where travellers want to go.
Who runs Ingendo
Ingendo is built and run by Harness Solutions, in Rwanda.
